Directions: Paints are permanent when applied to fabric so wear old clothes when painting. Read the enclosed animal tale and then paint the shirt together using colors that reflect your preference and creative style. A picture is provided to follow as a reference if you like. While you are painting, the questions suggested at the end of each story can be used as a prompt to relevant conversation. The child’s name can be painted on the shirt if desired. Allow 1-2 hours for paint to dry. If any of the picture outlines have been obscured from the paint, you can re-highlight them using a fine point permanent black marker (sharpie is what I like). Iron shirt inside out to fix color. Shirts can be washed and dried with regular detergent (no woolite) on regular cycle.
